Primate Elijah Ayodele has issued a strong warning to INEC officials and others involved in the 2027 election.
The cleric warned that anyone who rigs the election could bring what he described as a generational curse upon their family.
Ayodele, who leads INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, also extended the warning to politicians, NYSC members and security operatives.
He made the remarks in a video while speaking about the 2027 general election.
Ayodele warns INEC over 2027 election
Ayodele warned anyone involved in manipulating the election to stay away from the process.
He said those who attempt to rig the poll would face serious consequences.
“If you’re a politician, INEC official, NYSC member or security operative, and you ever take a step to rig the 2027 election, your generation after generation will be cursed,” he warned.
The cleric also cautioned electoral officials against taking bribes or engaging in other forms of malpractice.
He said such actions could eventually be exposed.
Primate Ayodele speaks on Nigeria’s future
Ayodele described the 2027 election as a major moment for Nigeria.
According to him, the election presents an opportunity to “remodify Nigeria” and introduce significant changes.
He said many Nigerians are already tired of what he described as years of political failure.
Ayodele also warned politicians and their supporters against violence during the election.
He said anyone who attempts to oppress, attack or kill others because of the poll would face consequences.
Ayodele denies political affiliation
The cleric also addressed his political position.
Ayodele said he does not belong to any political party.
He maintained that his comments on political developments are based on what he claims to observe.
He said he would speak about any party when he believes an issue requires his attention.
The cleric has continued to make comments about the 2027 election as political activities intensify ahead of the poll.

2027 election date already fixed
INEC has already released its timetable for the 2027 general election.
The commission has scheduled the presidential and National Assembly elections for January 16, 2027.
Governorship and State House of Assembly elections are scheduled for February 6, 2027.
With preparations for the election already underway, Ayodele’s warning adds to growing public discussion about the credibility of the 2027 electoral process.
The cleric urged those involved in the election to avoid actions that could undermine the process.
