THE Federal high Court in Ebonyi State has been gutted by fire.
The fire incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, 27th April, 2021.
The Point gathered that the early morning inferno, razed the court library section where case files are kept, including the security post.
The cause of the fire had not been ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
Speaking with a member of staff who asked not to be named for security reasons, he noted that from all indications, the perpetrators wanted to halt proceedings of the court for reasons best known to them.
Efforts to reach the Chief Registrar and Public Relations Officer of the Court for comments were not successful.
