Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has spoken publicly about a difficult pregnancy loss she experienced while working on a film.
The actress revealed that she was four months pregnant when she lost the pregnancy. She shared the experience during the Bestie Jesu Concert 2026 in Lagos on Saturday.
The Toyin Abraham pregnancy loss happened while she was still filming, leaving her emotionally overwhelmed as she prepared to receive medical care.
“I was 4 months, but I lost it. But guess what, I was filming, so I was down,” she said.
Toyin Did Not Want to Tell Her Parents
Abraham explained that she initially struggled with the decision to inform her parents about what had happened.
She said she was particularly concerned about her mother and did not want to cause her additional worry.
The actress eventually told her husband about the situation. However, he was away at the time and could not immediately be with her.
That was when she decided to contact Pastor Bolaji Idowu.
Pastor Bolaji Prayed for Her
According to Abraham, Pastor Bolaji immediately began praying for her after she contacted him.
The pastor also asked where she was and what was happening.
Abraham told him that she was already on her way to the hospital and had been scheduled for an evacuation procedure.
She recalled the pastor asking about the procedure before offering further assistance.
Pastor Sent Millions for Medical Care
Abraham revealed that Pastor Bolaji later sent her millions of naira to help with the medical procedure.
She expressed gratitude to the clergyman for supporting her during the difficult period.
The actress said his assistance came at a time when she was dealing with both the emotional impact of the Toyin Abraham pregnancy loss and the need for medical care.
“Thank you so much, Pastor Bolaji. God bless you,” she said.
Actress Had Previously Spoken About Pregnancy Loss
This is not the first time Abraham has spoken publicly about experiencing pregnancy loss.
In 2022, she discussed a previous loss and said the experience had been emotionally difficult for her. She also spoke about her desire to have more children at the time.
Her latest disclosure has once again brought attention to the personal challenges she has faced while balancing motherhood, family life and her career in Nollywood.
