Laide Olabanji predicts Peter Obi could win the support of Osun voters.

Nollywood actor Laide Olabanji has warned Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke that voters could reject the All Progressives Congress (APC), predicting that Peter Obi will emerge as their preferred choice.

Olabanji made the prediction in a video in which he criticised Adeleke’s political decision. Speaking in Yoruba, the actor accused the governor of going against the interests of residents who supported him during his political struggles.

Olabanji Questions Adeleke’s Political Decision

The actor recalled the challenges Adeleke faced from the APC and said the people of Osun stood by him despite the difficulties.

He questioned why the governor would now make a decision that, in his view, could disappoint those who supported him.

“Despite all the problems and battles the APC put you through, Osun people stood by you. Is this how you want to repay them?” Olabanji asked.

He also argued that residents were tired of economic hardship and would not welcome another four years of suffering.

According to the actor, the political choices of Osun residents could reflect their desire for a better future.

Olabanji went further to predict that Peter Obi would win the support of voters in Osun State.

He urged the public to remember the date of his prediction, insisting that Obi would become the preferred candidate of the state’s residents.

“Osun people are not ready to suffer anymore. They don’t want to suffer another four years,” the actor said.

He added: “Write down today’s date. Peter Obi will be the choice of Osun people. Note my words, Peter Obi will win in Osun.”

Olabanji’s comments have placed the spotlight on the political implications of Adeleke’s decision and the possible direction of voters in the state.

However, the actor’s prediction remains his personal political opinion and does not establish how Osun residents will vote.
