Dr. Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has dismissed reports suggesting that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has already settled for a preferred candidate ahead of the 2027 Lagos State governorship election.
In a statement issued on Saturday by his spokesperson, Gbenga Ogunleye, Jandor clarified that the party has not endorsed any aspirant and will instead rely on a transparent primary election to determine its flagbearer.
He emphasized that this position aligns with that of the Lagos State APC leadership, which has maintained that all interested aspirants will be given a fair opportunity to contest in the party’s primaries.
According to the statement, Jandor remains committed to the process and is actively preparing for the race by consulting party stakeholders and building strong grassroots support across
the state.
