When the Northern Pentecostal Bishops hosted Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja, several rumors circulating on social media claimed that the Senior Pastor of Shekinah Global Ministries Rev. Danjuma Byang acknowledged to accepting millions as “transport money” from Tinubu.
Byang expressed disbelief at the false accusations in a statement released in Jos, claiming Tinubu awarded Archbishop John Praise Daniel N100 million while other Bishops present received payments ranging from N50 million to N20 million to N10 million according to their positions!
According to him: ”For the avoidance of doubt, I did not say I regretted collecting any money from Tinubu! And I did not say anybody collected any money from Tinubu! I did not collect any such money and I didn’t see anyone collecting it.”
