The long distance runners from Kenya and Ethiopia have once again dominated the podium at the 6th edition of the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon as Emmanuel Naibei of Kenya has won the men race while Ethiopia’s Meseret Dinke Wins female category.
Naibei beat other marathoners to win the 42km race in 2 hours 11 minutes and 37 seconds and also claim the grand prize of $30,000 while Meseret Dinke of Ethiopia is the women’s champion.
Celestine Jepchirchir of kenya, emerged second while Desta Muluneh of Ethiopia also emerged in the third position of the women category.
