Mr. Macaroni has made it clear on X that he will never be persuaded to interact with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the future. Popular comedian and activist, Adebowale “Debo” Adedayo, widely known as Mr. Macaroni, took to X to vow that he would not acknowledge the Governor of Lagos State when they meet again.
Mr. Macaroni’s resentment towards Sanwo-Olu appears to stem from his arrest during the ENDSARS protest in 2021. He wrote: “This is the last time I will address this matter. It is not worth my peace of mind. Even if he calls me, I won’t answer. You people will cry today, tomorrow, and forever!” He went on to say, “Since you won’t stop attacking me for not greeting Governor Sanwo-Olu, the next time I see him, I still won’t greet him.”
