Tinubu’s daughter adds ‘First daughter of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria’ to Twitter Profile

The first daughter of President Bola Tinubu, Folasade Tinubu-Ojo has declared herself as the ‘first daughter of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN)’.

According to SaharaReporters, Tinubu-Ojo, who used to be the Iyaloja General of Lagos and later the Iyaloja General of Nigeria, has now changed her Twitter bio to reflect her new profile after her father’s inauguration as the president of Nigeria.

Recall on Monday that Tinubu and Kashim Shettima were sworn in as president and vice-president of Nigeria.

With the swearing-in, Tinubu becomes the 16th President of Nigeria.

As expected, Tinubu’s inauguration automatically confers on the wife, Remi, the title of first lady and the family as the first family of the country.

On Sunday, she posted a video of a party tagged ‘Pre-inauguration exquisite dinner’ on her Twitter handle.

In the video, Tinubu-Ojo is seen dancing along with her friends at the flamboyant party ahead of her father’s inauguration.

Meanwhile, along with changing her Twitter profile, Folasade unveiled a non-governmental organisation titled “Friends of Iyaloja Initiative”, which she said will be used to support her father’s administration.

In a statement she posted on her Twitter handle during the unveiling in Abuja, Tinubu-Ojo declared that FoI will be focusing on youth and women empowerment, among others.

She tweeted “Friends of Iyaloja Initiative (FoI) unveiled today.

“I have decided to use my little wealth of experience, connections and human resources available to me to support my dad’s administration.

“FoI shall be focusing on: youth and women empowerment. Empowering people with special needs. Empowering the vulnerable and several other programs aimed at affecting the lives of Nigerians; especially, those in the grassroots.”

She added, “We shall be in partnership with other notable NGOs with track records of excellence in the key areas. We shall also seek collaborations with several governmental agencies, ministries and parastatals created to serve Nigerians in areas that pertain to our operational cycle.

“I can boldly say again that our youths, women and the vulnerable shall be attended to by this administration.

“I will fight for this cause and I believe that God Almighty shall crown our efforts with unprecedented success,” she said.
