Tinubu: Nigeria will rise, say ex-CAN president Ayokunle

The former president, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Dr. Supo Ayokunle, has said through President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the nation will rise.
He urged Tinubu to put away politics and allow the interest of the nation to be at the top of his agenda.

Speaking in Ibadan at the 60th birthday of the Presiding Bishop, Victory International Churches, Bishop Taiwo Adelakun, held at Dominion University, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, the cleric said although Tinubu understands the problem Nigerians are facing and has promised not to disappoint them, he and other clerics will continue to pray for him so that his administration will have meaningful impact on Nigerians.

Ayokunle described Adelakun as a born leader, who was always available and humble while serving as the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN chairman in Oyo State. He said the celebrant was known for commitment to the work of God.

Adelakun said the Tinubu administration would succeed because clerics would pray for people in position of authority.

He urged the president- to priotise security, economy, health care, education and other issues affecting the nation.
