Protesting legislative workers, on Tuesday, blocked the convoy of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila over non-payment of their allowances.
The workers of the upper and lower legislative chambers were protesting over indifferent attitudes of the leadership of the National Assembly to thier welfare.
The aggrieved workers barricaded the road and blocked the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila whom they said has been feigning ignorance of their demands since 2019.
Having done with the Speaker, protesters made deft moves to get the attention of the Senate President, Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan.
