PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU TO OBSERVE EID-EL FITR IN LAGOS

by Kolade  Kadesh

In a recent press release, the State House announced that President Bola Tinubu will be observing the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations in Lagos. The President, who will depart from Abuja, the nation’s capital, on Sunday, will spend the occasion in prayers for Nigeria and with his family.

Eid-el-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, a period of fasting and introspection for Muslims around the world. It is a joyous and significant moment for the Muslim community, as they come together to celebrate and offer gratitude.

Despite the festive nature of the occasion, President Tinubu will also continue his official duties during and after the holiday period.

The press release was issued by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President for Media and Publicity, on April 6, 2024.

This event demonstrates the President’s commitment to his religious beliefs and his dedication to serving the nation, even during important personal occasions.
