Veteran Nollywood actor Bolaji Amusan, widely known as Mr Latin, has achieved a major academic milestone by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution from National Open University of Nigeria.
The actor shared the good news on his Instagram page on Saturday, expressing pride in completing the programme. He described the achievement as a fulfilling moment after years of dedication.
Amusan, who currently serves as President of the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria, attributed his success to divine grace. He also appreciated his family, friends, and supporters for standing by him throughout his academic journey.
Having enrolled at NOUN in 2017, the actor returned to school after spending over two decades away from formal education due to financial challenges that prevented him from attending university earlier.
Born in Gbongan, Osun State, Amusan began acting in 1988 and transitioned into comedy in 1991. His popular stage name, Mr Latin, originated from a moment on a film set in 1992 when his French-speaking lines were mistaken for Latin by a producer.
