|Kagwe opens the song, another self-produced single, with his signature name-chanting intro and the perfect blend of musical elements that lead us straight to the hook on the beat drop. Mbogi Ya Madenge infuses sonic elements from multiple genres reinforcing Kagwe’s status as the king of blurred genres, as he continues the quest to traverse and dominate new sounds.“With every project that I release, I package it to remind my listeners what good music is supposed to feel and sound like. |This has been a great year for Kagwe Mungai’s music from the release of Ponky, Panties, and now Mbogi Ya Madenge. Every release has topped the charts and garnered attention from media outlets, opinion leaders, all major DSPs, and Kagwe’s fans. The singles enjoyed high rotation on major radio stations and support on key playlists across the DSPs.
