Simon Ekpa emerges as the new head of Radio Biafra, a medium for the secession struggle, the news of his emergence broke out tafter the arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.The Nigerian government with a synergy with other security and intelligence agency of an undisclosed country arrested Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and brought him to Nigeria after he jumped bail in 2017.
In light of the recent agitation and the emergence of the new leader of the group, one can say that the agitation of the proscribed group will take a new template and operational format.It is worrisome if the Federal government will be able to keep arresting everyone associated with IPOB internationally and locally.
