Governor Akeredolu not sick, says spokesman
The Chief Press Secretary to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Richard Olatunde, on Wednesday, dispelled his rumoured illness as outright falsehood.
Responding to questions from The Point newspaper that Akeredolu had been hospitalised in Germany, Olatunde said, “It is a big lie, sir. Oga is very much around.”
Governor Akeredolu had been reportedly flown to Germany for immediate medical treatment.
Akeredolu, a Tinubu ally, had reportedly been sick for a while, with some sources close to him claiming that he had not been able to walk.
It was gathered that the sickness was so bad that the governor had to be bundled into an aircraft and flown to Germany.
