Crisis rock PDP as Seven Members of PDP NWC resign

Some members of the National Working Committee, NWC, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, including the Deputy National Financial Secretary, Deputy Legal Adviser, Deputy National Auditor, Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Deputy Women Leader, and Deputy Organising Secretary, have resigned from their various positions.

The party’s National Organising Secretary, Colonel Austin Akobundu (retd), reportedly confirmed this to the Nation on Tuesday.

The resigning NWC members, numbering about seven, however, promised to remain loyal to the main opposition political party.

They, according to the report, will no longer continue to work with the current NWC led by Prince Uche Secondus.
