APC national legal adviser El-Marzuq resigns
National Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress, Ahmed El-Marzuq, has resigned.
El-Marzuq was said to have resigned on Wednesday.
It was learnt that the former legal adviser, who is believed to be a close ally of the former National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, had been under pressure since the latter resigned.
El-Marzuq had recommended the expulsion of former National Vice Chairman for Northwest, Salihu Lukman, over his decision to take the party and his leadership to court.
The Deputy National Organising Secretary of the APC, Nze Chidi Duru, confirmed the legal adviser’s resignation to the media.
