On Monday, the award-winning singer made an unexpected appearance at the State House of Assembly during a plenary session, fueling speculation about his relationship with Natasha.
Natasha Osawaru, a 31-year-old politician and lawyer from Edo State, is the daughter of Desmond and Philomina Osawaru, as well as the granddaughter of billionaire Gabriel Igbinedion. Representing the Egor constituency, she is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
However, in an Instagram video, 2Baba took the opportunity to clear up any confusion about his connection with Natasha, stressing that she has no involvement in his current situation with Annie. He openly expressed his admiration for the lawmaker, saying, “Yes, I love her. I want to marry her.”
He continued, “She has nothing to do with what’s going on between me and Annie. Yet, I see people trying to wrongly associate her with everything. Yes, I love her. She’s amazing, she’s cool, and I want to marry her.” He added, “I’ve said what I said. We’ll all be fine… Honourable Natasha has been unfairly dragged into this, called all sorts of names, and even labeled as a homewrecker. She is a young, brilliant, and amazing woman.”
2Baba emphasized that the innocent Natasha has been wrongly branded a “homewrecker.”
In response to 2Baba’s divorce announcement, popular media personality Daddy Freeze revealed that the singer’s new love interest is an “honourable member.” While many speculated that the visit was linked to a potential romance with the female legislator, others questioned whether there was a political motive behind it.
