President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived at London Stansted Airport in the United Kingdom, commencing his historic two-day state visit.
The President, accompanied by First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, was received on arrival by senior officials of the UK government and top diplomats from the Nigerian High Commission.
According to a statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the visit will feature a series of high-level engagements, including meetings with British government officials, business leaders, and investors aimed at strengthening economic ties, boosting trade and investment, and expanding cooperation in key sectors such as energy, security, and technology.
President Tinubu is also expected to participate in strategic dialogues focused on Nigeria’s economic reforms and investment opportunities, as well as engagements with members of the Nigerian diaspora in the United Kingdom, underscoring their role in national development and bilateral relations.
