The Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, the Clerk of the House and four members of the Assembly are expected to appear before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC today after a fresh invitation from the commission.
Aside the Speaker, the other four lawmakers making an appearance at the EFCC office today over alleged misappropriation of funds are: Hon Simeon Borokini, Hon Ololade Gbegudu, Hon Akinrogunde Akintomide and Hon Abiodun Faleye.
The Clerk of the house and some other members had earlier appeared before the EFFC to answer questions on an alleged misappropriation of funds.
The invited lawmakers are expected to be in Lagos to appear before the commission.
Efforts to reach the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Hon. Olugbenga Omole proved abortive as his lines weren’t connecting.
