Owa Haastrup of Ijesa, Appoints Advisory Council, Palace Officials

The traditional leader of Ijesa land, Owa Obokun Adimula, His Royal Highness Owa Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Ajimoko III has appointed a team of 15 persons into his advisory council, 6 member Private Advisory Team and 6 high profile professionals as Palace Officials.

The appointments which held last year, took effect on Thursday, January 1, 2026. They were appointed to oversee the effective administration of the palace. This includes implementing the Owa’ development policies in Ijesaland.

Here’s the list of those constituted by the Owa:

In his keynote address, His Royal Highness, Owa Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Ajimoko III, congratulated the appointees for being selected among many Ijesa citizens.

His words,

“I am proud and impressed by your pedigrees and commitment to the peace, progress and prosperity of Ijesaland,” Owa Haastrup says. “…implore you to see this appointment as a call to service. …urge you to up your game, roll your sleeves, and let us make Ijesaland a model among all communities in Nigeria. Let us give our very best to our people not only in the six local government areas that we occupy in Osun State but also across Nigeria and the diaspora.

“Please, see this call as an opportunity to write your name in gold in the history books of Ijesaland. Work diligently to make posterity to be kind to you and your generations. Once again, I congratulate you. Welcome on board.”
