A transporter who plies the route, Mr. Philip Asekevwe, while hailing the governor, charged him on the completion of other sections of the road.
According to him, “We appreciate the governor for the reconstruction of the road. While we state unequivocally that the governor has done well, we use this opportunity to urge him to ensure the completion of this small part to Ogida Market Junction.
“The people of this area are elated and impressed with the governor’s performance. This road was inaccessible for several years before the governor awarded its reconstruction and today, everyone can see a great improvement.”
“As motorists, we can now ply the road; the reconstruction work has further helped us to reduce the rate at which we visit the mechanic for repairs of our cars,” he added.
On his part, a landlord in the area, Mr. James Ekuase, also commended the governor for remembering the people in his administration’s massive infrastructural development.
Also, Mr. Soetan Gabriel, another transporter stated: “I have plied this road for over seven years now and the situation has not been this good. We thank God for this present administration of Governor Godwin Obaseki that has come to help us out.”
