“Today, I regret ever deciding to leave Nigeria and move to the U.S. I have been struggling so much in silence. I haven’t seen my kids for about two years now,” the “Akube” crooner wrote.

His post has since stirred concern among fans, many of whom offered words of encouragement and support.

Dotman rose to fame in 2016 with his breakout single Akube, a song that dominated Nigerian airwaves and quickly became a street anthem. Known for his smooth blend of Afrobeats and street-inspired lyrics, he followed up with hits like My Woman, Feelings, and Afro Girl, which further solidified his place in the Nigerian music scene.

Before relocating abroad, Dotman had performed at major concerts across Africa and Europe. His move to the U.S. was seen as a career expansion, but his recent post sheds light on the emotional and personal toll it has taken.
