During a recent series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), popular On-Air Personality Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, known professionally as Do2dtun, expressed deep concern over veteran singer 2Face Idibia’s emotional public apology video.

2Face, in a widely circulated video, had apologized to his wife, Natasha Osawuru, and his children following backlash from his controversial remark during an interview where he claimed that men are not built to be sexually committed to one woman.

While reacting to the viral apology, Do2dtun questioned the sincerity and intent behind the video. According to him, the 2Face being presented to the public appears to be a shadow of himself.

“Please, I don’t like this 2Face I’m seeing. Something is not right at all,” Do2dtun wrote. “He can express himself how he chooses to, but why always make him retract a video or make an apology like a child? He is vulnerable, and someone is milking it. Whoever is holding that camera is wicked.”

Do2dtun added that 2Face has rarely addressed controversies, even during some of his worst scandals, making this recent pattern of retractions unusual. “Someone is forcing him to be who he is not. 2Face hardly addresses anything. Even in his worst of worst scandals, he never addresses anything like this. Something is wrong. He is regressing, and I hate it,” he said.

The media personality emphasized that while the apology might have been intended to clear the air, it appeared orchestrated and unhelpful to 2Face’s public image. He argued that someone might be taking advantage of the singer’s emotional state, pushing him to act in ways that do not align with his true character.

Do2dtun concluded by suggesting that what 2Face truly needs is professional support. “He needs help,” he said, recommending therapy as a healthier alternative to media apologies.
