Halle Bailey Granted Restraining Order Against Ex-Boyfriend DDG Following Alleged Domestic Incident
A Los Angeles judge has granted actress and singer Halle Bailey a domestic violence restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, rapper Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., known professionally as DDG. The order mandates that DDG remain at least 100 yards away from Bailey and prohibits him from making any public comments about her or their child.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Bailey described a disturbing incident in which DDG became verbally aggressive while she was securing their infant son in a car seat. The actress alleges that DDG yelled, “Get out of my car, BITCH,” an outburst that reportedly frightened the child and caused him to cry.
Bailey also presented evidence to the court supporting her claims of escalating abuse. This included a video of DDG damaging her home security camera, throwing her phone, and photographs documenting a bruised arm and a chipped tooth. She said the confrontation intensified when she attempted to arrange a visitation schedule for their son.
In addition to the restraining order, the court granted Bailey permission to travel with the child to Italy, where she is scheduled to film for two months.
Bailey and DDG, once a high-profile celebrity couple, reportedly ended their relationship in October 2024. Neither party has issued a public statement regarding the court’s decision at the time of this report.
