Young Jonn Admits Davido’s Wealth Makes Him Feel Financially Intimidated

Nigerian music producer turned singer, Young Jonn, has revealed that his journey into music was unplanned and that becoming an artist happened purely by accident.
The hitmaker, known for chart-topping singles and collaborations, made this revelation during a sideline interview at the 2024 Paris Fashion Week in France.
When asked if he had ever encountered someone who made him feel broke, Young Jonn didn’t hesitate to name Afrobeats superstar Davido.
“Too many times, bro. Davido,” he responded. “Whenever I see his money, I’m like, I need to work hard and drop more songs.”
Despite the lighthearted tone of his response, Young Jonn admitted that Davido’s financial success not only humbles him but also serves as motivation to push harder in his own career.
Young Jonn, whose transition from producer to artist has been met with critical acclaim, continues to rise in the Nigerian music scene, drawing inspiration from some of the industry’s biggest names.
