Controversial critic, Verydarkman has slammed Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson over the arrest of TikTok content creator, Eedie Bliss for allegedly sharing unverified defaming her husband.
As at December 2025, there were reports that Mercy Johnson’s husband, Prince Okojie allegedly bought a house for another lady who got pregnant for him.
Speaking about the report, Eedie Bliss who quoted Cutie Juls as her source, stated that Mercy Johnson allegedly connived with the pregnant lady’ house help to cause her miscarriage.
Following this, the Tiktok creator was arrested and detained in Abuja after Mercy Johnson’s husband filed a petition against her.
Reacting to the lady’ arrest, Verydarkman slammed Mercy Johnson and her husband over Eddie’s detention, describing them as being biased in her case.
This is because Mercy Johnson recently slammed Senator Ned Nwoko over the detention of Regina Daniels brother, Sammy when he was arrested for defamation.
His words,
“Dear mercy Johnson, you can’t fight for the release of Sammy when Ned arrested him over defamation/ETC then later turn around to do the same thing with your husband all in the name of defamation. There was no name your camp didn’t call Ned NWOKO then.
“If you and your husband feels defamed by that girl’s post, please sue her to court. And stop using the police to oppress people. To think of it, this girl’s case is different because she stated her source as cutiejuls blog. Release her and go to court. I heard her wedding is this Saturday”.
