The Ogun State Government has announced the appointment of Mrs. Feyisara Bolarinwa-Adebowale as the new Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement, following the passing of her predecessor, Dr. Adesina Olanloye.
The State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, disclosed the appointment in a statement on Friday, noting that the selection process strictly adhered to the state’s procurement regulations. According to him, Bolarinwa-Adebowale emerged after a rigorous, merit-based process that included screening and interviews among qualified civil servants.
He added that the new Director-General possesses the required expertise, competence, and professional knowledge necessary for the role.
A trained lawyer, Bolarinwa-Adebowale began her career in the Ogun State Civil Service in 2005 as a State Counsel. She later rose to become Deputy Director of Civil Litigation in the Ministry of Justice before being deployed to the Bureau of Public Procurement as a legal officer.
Her appointment, the Head of Service explained, reflects the administration’s commitment under Governor Dapo Abiodun to promote transparency, accountability, and adherence to global best practices in public procurement.
He also charged her to carry out her responsibilities in strict compliance with the laws governing the bureau.
