Following planned industrial strike by the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD), Justice E.D Subilim has granted an interim injunction to desist from strike action.
The injunction granted by Honourable Justice Subilim restrains every member of NARD from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action including but not limited to: strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption as planned on 12th of January 2026.
The order will subsist pending the determination of the motion on notice on the 21st day of January, 2026.
The suit was filed by the Attorney General of the Federation and the Federal Government of Nigeria against NARD.
