The Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan has nullified the officers-elect of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The court had barred Turaki and others from parading themselves as national officers of the party.
The Peoples Democratic Party held it’s national convention hlin Ibadan, Oyo State on November 15, 2025. During the convention, Turaki and others were elected as national leaders of the PDP.
The court barred Turaki and others from parading themselves as national officers of the PDP. This comes after the caretaker committee filed an action in court.
Delivering judgement, Justice Uche Agomoh ordered that Caretaker Committee led by Abdulrahman and Senator Samuel Anyanwu is the only recognised NWC of the PDP until the paety conduct a valid National Convention.
