The 21-year-old singer has now amassed over 2.7 billion streams across all credits, further cementing her status as one of Africa’s leading musical exports.
Her most streamed track on the platform is the global hit “Santa”, which has garnered more than 707 million streams, while her biggest solo single, “Rush”, boasts over 474 million streams to date.
In another historic milestone, Ayra Starr recently surpassed 5 million followers on Spotify—making her the first African female artist to reach that mark on the platform.
Despite this impressive achievement, Ayra Starr is second only to Tems on the list of most streamed African female artists on Spotify. Tems currently leads with an impressive 3.8 billion total streams across all credits.
