Accra Circuit court on Wednesday, convicts Ghana’s entertainer Rosemond Brown otherwise known as Akuapem Poloo over the nude photoshoot she had with her 7-year-old son in 2020.
She was nabbed for publishing the nude photos of herself and son.
The actress who had shared her naked pictures with her son on social media on June 30, 2020, was arraigned on three count of publication of obscene materials, engaging in violence , a conduct that in any way undermines another person’s privacy or integrity and engaging in domestic violence namely conduct that in any way detracts or is likely to detract from another person’s dignity and worth as a human being.
The Actress pleaded “not guilty” when was first arraigned but changed it “guilty” when rearraigned on Wednesday april 14. She was then convicted by Her Honour, Christiana Cann of Accra Circuit Court on her own plea.
The court affirmed that she had committed domestic violence against her son and undermine his dignity.
She is facing a court case that borders on misdemeanour and could face up to three years behind bars.
According to a legal expert, Bernard Owiredu Donkor, her offence which falls under misdemeanour may have three results, she can be cautioned or impose custodial sentence of maximum 3 years on her.
But some legal experts argued that she could be jailed to serve as a deterrence.
