Explosive allegations have emerged in the federal sex trafficking trial of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, including claims that he once forced a male escort to urinate in the mouth of his former partner, singer Cassie Ventura.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson, speaking during opening statements, described the alleged act as part of a disturbing pattern of coercive sexual behavior. Johnson told jurors the incident left Cassie “feeling as though she was choking.” The claims were reportedly tied to one of Combs’ infamous private events, described in court as “freak offs”—exclusive parties allegedly involving orchestrated sexual encounters between male escorts and women who prosecutors say were coerced into participating.

The trial began on May 12 following the completion of jury selection. Combs, the founder of Bad Boy Records, has pleaded not guilty to multiple federal charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution.

During testimony, male sex worker Daniel Phillip claimed he was paid up to $6,000 for encounters with Cassie. Phillip testified that Cassie had requested to be urinated on and gave him specific instructions. “She asked me if I had ever done that before, she told me to do it. Apparently, I was doing it wrong, because they both told me,” he said, referring to both Cassie and Combs. He further alleged that Combs would sometimes record the encounters or direct the activity.

Phillip also told the court he feared retaliation for speaking out, stating, “My thoughts were that this was someone with unlimited power. And chances are that, even if I did go to the police, I might still lose my life.”

Prosecutors also pointed to a 2016 surveillance video that surfaced online, allegedly showing Combs kicking, hitting, and dragging Cassie down a hotel hallway. The footage is expected to be a key piece of evidence during the trial.

Combs’ legal team is anticipated to argue that the relationship between him and Cassie was mutually abusive. Cassie herself is expected to take the stand in the coming weeks. If convicted of racketeering, Combs could face life in prison. The sex trafficking charges carry a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years.

The 54-year-old mogul was arrested in Manhattan on September 16, 2024, and later indicted by the Southern District of New York. According to the indictment, Combs is accused of abusing more than 120 individuals—including women, and men.
