Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA have arrested a wanted drug kingpin, Lekan Jimoh who is also known as Kanmo-Kanmo. His arrest was effected after 12-year manhunt.

Lekan was allegedly involved in the murder of three NDLEA officers. Aside the murder he is popular for drug trafficking, thuggery and others.

Lekan had on June 15, 2014 initiated a mob action against some NDLEA officers who had attempted to arrest him at his hideout. The attack led to the murder of three NDLEA officers, including Rabiu Usman Kazaure.

Following information from undisclosed source, Lekan was arrested at his hideout in Owode town, Ogun State. As at the time of his arrest, the suspect was found with 69 kilograms of cannabis.
