The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed the death of the suspect in the river valley estate murder case. The suspect identified as, Mr Ayoola Ayanwale is dead.
The Command’s public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi revealed that the suspect was found in an open field in Sotubo gasping for breath and eventually passed away.
The police PRO said the suspect allegedly commited suicide on 9th January 2026.
Some items were recovered at the scene including a bottle containing liquid, voter’s card, ATM card and two mobile phones.
