in a decisive operation in Kebbi State have successfully neutralised a group of Lakurawan terrorists who invaded Argungu town on Thursday night, chasing away cattle in the process.
“This swift response is a testament to the Governor’s commitment to protecting the people and properties of Kebbi State,” Aliyu Bandado, Special Adviser on News Media to Governor Nasir Idris, said Friday in a statement.
He disclosed that the security forces “acted on the Governor’s orders, facilitated by the Director of Security Affairs in Kebbi State.”
“The Governor of Kebbi State,” Bandado said, “has demonstrated unwavering dedication to addressing security concerns head-on, refusing to downplay the issue. The people of Argungu have expressed gratitude to the Governor and the security forces for their prompt response to the situation.”
