Grammy Award-winning Nigerian artist, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed the deeply personal inspiration behind his forthcoming album, No Sign of Weakness.
Speaking during an interview with NSTV, Burna Boy shared that despite facing overwhelming challenges in life, he has remained resilient—an attribute he credits for his sustained success in the global music scene.
“I have had the most reasons to not exist anymore, but I have shown no sign of weakness,” the singer disclosed. “That’s what this album is saying. Through everything, no sign of weakness will be shown. That is what I want everyone coming after me to do—show no sign of weakness.”
The highly anticipated project, which marks Burna Boy’s eighth studio album, is scheduled for release on July 11, 2025, under Atlantic Records, Spaceship, and Bad Habit.
