Alhaji Ali Dalori, the newly appointed Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), presided over his first National Working Committee (NWC) meeting on Monday, marking a significant transition in the party’s leadership.

The meeting, held at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, comes days after the suspension of former Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje by a court order. Sources within the party confirmed to E247Mag that the NWC discussed critical party matters, including preparations for upcoming governorship elections in Edo and Ondo States.

In his opening remarks, Dalori emphasized unity within the party, stating, “This is a time for all members to come together and work towards strengthening our great party. We must remain focused on our goals and deliver for Nigerians.”

Key agenda items included:

  • Review of party finances

  • Reconciliation efforts in state chapters

  • Strategy sessions for the 2027 general elections

E247Mag gathered that the NWC unanimously passed a vote of confidence in Dalori’s leadership during the closed-door session. Party spokesman Felix Morka later briefed journalists, confirming that all decisions taken would be forwarded to the National Executive Committee (NEC) for ratification.

Political analysts suggest Dalori’s interim leadership will be tested in the coming weeks as the party navigates internal dynamics and prepares for crucial elections. The APC has faced recent challenges, including defections and court cases, making this transition period particularly critical.

E247Mag will continue to provide updates on this developing story.
