On Thursday, one of Nigeria’s finest rappers, Odumodublvck, revealed that he dissed President Bola Tinubu in his song “Vex” due to his loyalty to the 2023 Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The rapper, Tochukwu Ojogwu—better known by his stage name, Odumodublvck—explained why he took aim at Tinubu in his track. He mentioned that the diss had sparked significant backlash, but he still called on Peter Obi to promote his upcoming album, The Machine Is Coming, in hopes of mending their relationship.
In a post on his X handle, Odumodublvck wrote: “Peter Obi, I even dissed Tinubu for you. Now, because of you, the people are spitting on me and my legacy. Tweet The Machine Is Coming to rekindle and redeem our friendship, sir. Do not listen to them. Listen to your heart.”
