In a recent episode of the “Me & My Girls” podcast, Bambam opened up about her traumatic first childbirth experience. The reality star emphasized that many stillbirths are caused by negligence. She shared, “During my first labor, my kidney failed, my heart was weak, my liver… everything was just shutting down because of childbirth. My daughter had detached from the placenta. If I had been even a second later getting to the hospital, she would have lost oxygen, and I would have experienced a stillbirth.”
Reflecting on the experience, she added, “Every time I look at her, I just think, ‘What if?’ The ‘what ifs’ tormented me. They haunted me for a long time. Even now, just remembering, I get nervous. The ‘what ifs’ were endless, and they haunted me for a while. I had to go through therapy to learn to be grateful.” She also noted, “A lot of stillbirths happen because of negligence. It’s often because the doctor wasn’t attentive, the nurse didn’t do her job on time, or they arrived at the hospital too late.”
