NAPTIP Declares Speed Darlington Wanted Over Alleged Rape, Cyberbullying
In a statement released Friday via its verified Instagram handle, @officialnaptip, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) declared Nigerian musician Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, wanted over allegations of rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.
The agency stated that the controversial entertainer is being sought in connection with serious accusations, including a disturbing claim he made during a live Instagram session, where he allegedly confessed to having sexual relations with a 15-year-old girl.
According to NAPTIP, Speed Darlington was previously invited for questioning but failed to honour the invitation, prompting the agency to escalate the matter and alert the public.
As investigations continue, NAPTIP is urging anyone with useful information about his whereabouts to come forward.
