The former Big Brother Naija housemate has received official approval from Guinness World Records to perform non-stop for more than 40 hours. The event, billed as a “laugh-a-thon,” will take place from October 2 to 4, 2025, at Pallazo Lagos in Opebi, Ikeja.
Sharing his motivation on Instagram, DeeOne declared: “There comes a time in every man’s life when he must test the limit of what is possible for himself, his people, his craft and generations watching.” His words highlight a mix of personal ambition and national pride as he seeks to put Nigerian comedy on the global stage.

Skit maker Josh2funny hailed him as “my favorite comedian,” reality star Teddy A urged him on with “Let’s go!,” while actress Tonto Dikeh offered her backing, assuring him, “DeeOne, you can do this! This bold attempt comes as October shapes up to be a record-breaking month for Nigerian entertainers. Just days after DeeOne’s marathon, fellow BBNaija alumna Tacha is scheduled to attempt the Guinness World Record for the “most makeovers” between October 10 and 12, 2025.
