Popular nightlife entrepreneur, Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has reignited controversy online following a subtle yet pointed jab at Hellen Atti, the Kenyan woman accusing him of fathering her two-year-old son.
Currently vacationing in France, Chief Priest posted a light-hearted video in which a man repeatedly chants “Paskal! You will suffer!”—a phrase many social media users immediately linked to Hellen’s previous public rants against him. The video, which appears to be a playful mimicry of Atti’s viral outburst, has since sparked a wave of reactions across platforms.
Hellen Atti has maintained that her child was conceived after an encounter with the businessman during his trip to Kenya in April 2022. According to her, repeated efforts to get Chief Priest to take a DNA test have been ignored. In response, reports suggest that the socialite has filed a defamation suit in a Kenyan court, seeking legal restraint against Atti from further public commentary on the matter.
Social media users have been divided in their response to the latest development. While some applauded the humour in Chief Priest’s post, others criticised what they saw as a distraction tactic, urging him to clear the air by simply submitting to a paternity test.
Despite the controversy, Cubana Chief Priest has yet to publicly confirm or deny the paternity allegations. However, this latest move has only intensified public interest in the case—one that continues to blur the lines between private drama and public spectacle.
