In a sudden development concerning one of the longest unsolved mysteries in music history, the individual suspected in the murder of rap icon, Tupac Shakur in September 1996 has been arrested. Notably rapper, 50 Cent’s recent online post suggests a connection to Sean Love Combs, famously known as ‘Diddy’. 50 Cent suggests that the situation might unfold interestingly, hinting at some dark secrets that could come to light.
Diddy, who has been long rumored to be involved in Tupac’s fatal incident in Las Vegas, has come under scrutiny again following the arrest of the prime suspect. Retired LAPD detective Greg Kading previously mentioned that Diddy allegedly hired gang member Keffe D to assassinate Tupac and his manager, Suge Knight, for $1 million.
The alleged triggerman, however, was reported to be Keffe D’s nephew, Orlando ‘Baby Lane’ Anderson, who is believed to have gunned down the 25-year-old rapper on September 7, 1996. Tupac tragically passed away days later on September 13.
In a shocking twist, Keffe D may have implicated Diddy in an interview given two months prior to his arrest on September 29, 2023. Referring to his acquaintance with Diddy, he revealed, ‘If I wouldn’t have ever met [Diddy], I wouldn’t have ever been involved in this bulls—.’
Keffe D went on to describe the devastating aftermath of Tupac’s murder, stating that it ‘crashed two people’s empires in one night’; alluding to his and Suge’s empires. Interestingly, he claimed that Diddy was the only one left thriving.
Keffe D was apprehended on September 29, more than 27 years after the iconic rapper’s death. In July, authorities had raided his home in Las Vegas, culminating in him being charged with first-degree murder connected to Tupac’s murder.
