2023: Tinubu/Shettima Youth Support Group Inaugurates Executives

The National Coalition Group (NCG) has inaugurated newly elected national executives to oversee the youth wing of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential campaign team to fruition come 2023. 

The Director of Media and Publicity, NCG, Aminat Aminu-Isah, made this known in a statement on Saturday, in Abuja.

Aminu-Isah said the new executive members were sworn in by a representative of the NCG Board of Trustees (BOT), Mr Francis Shoga, at Tinubu campaign office in Abuja.

She said NCG had its elections after receiving other groups on the grounds of merger for the purpose of ensuring that the Tinubu-Shetimma presidential ticket sailed to victory.

The BOT representative, Shoga urged the newly elected executives drawn from all walks of life, to use their wealth of experience to strategise towards victory for the APC presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu come 2023.

He urged them to develop programmes and events that would educate and enlighten Nigerians on why Tinubu, is the best man to lead Nigeria, come 2023.

The National Chairman, Dr Bako Muhammed, said the NCG was in high spirit and is ready to set the ball rolling at ensuring that no stone is left unturned in ensuring that the APC presidential flag bearer is victorious.

On their part, the Deputy National Chairman North, Mrs Abiodun Essiet and Deputy National Chairman South, Mr Ekene Nwokoro, promised to mobilise the youth for Tinubu/Shetima’s victory.

They said that the youth population constitute a huge chunk of the voting population, hence the need for the youth to support the candidacy of Tinubu and Shetima.

According to them, the inauguration of the executive will aid the activities mapped out for the success of their principal, considering the fact that that youth need to be more enlightened on the issue of legitimacy of their franchise and why they should give their mandate to a leader who would salvage the country’s situation.

“The new executive of NCG are the National Chairman, Dr Bako Muhammed; Deputy National Chairman North, Mrs Abiodun Essiet; Deputy National Chairman South, Mr Ekene Nwokoro; National Secretary, Miss Martha Agba and National Coordinator, Mr Idris Jibril.

Others are National Legal Adviser, Abdulazeez Ahmed; National Auditor, Sadiq Abdulfatai; National Director Project Design and implementation, Mr Ahmad Abdullahi; National Director Policy Strategy Development Delivery and Implementation Prince Shinna Agoi.

“Also inaugurated are the National Director Media and Publicity, Mrs Aminat Aminu-Isah, National Director Logistics and Oversight, Mr Chukwuma Patrick; National Director Welfare, Ashlee Momoh; National Treasurer Mr Olanrewaju Obasa and National Director Youth Mobilisation and Consultation, Mr Musa Idoko.

“They also include National Director Community Engagement, Dr. Justice Chikezie; National Director Finance, Funding and Sponsorship, Mr Samaila Audu; National Director Women Affairs and Development, Mrs Mary Odey.

“Also elected are South West Zonal Coordinator, Mary Adekemi Oluwajana; Zonal Coordinator North Central, Ibrahim Taiye Marafa; North West Zonal Coordinator, Mr Yusuf Amosu; Mr James Omini, Zonal Coordinator South-South; South-East Zonal Coordinator, Comrade Ogechukwu Michael,’’ she said. (NAN)
