The owners of St. Ives Communications, who are the brains behind Nigeria’s first Women Radio station, WFM 91.7, have raised the bar higher yet again. The company has just been granted the license to operate a television station which has already been christened Women Network Television (WNT).

Already, plans are in top gear to launch the TV station in a big way, and if the strides recorded by WFM 91.7 in the few months of its operation are anything to go by, WNT will hit the airwaves with a loud bang.

St. Ives Communications is headed by the amiable Dr. Babatunde Okewale, his wife, Barrister Oladimeji Okewale, and Dr. Okewale’s enterprising sister, Toun Okewale-Shonaiya.
