Rejection. I’m not going to explain that, we all have different ways of explaining the word rejection and we also have different ways on how we take it. Some people get rejected and never try again, some people get rejected and kill themselves, some people get rejected and it taints their vision. To everyone who has ever been rejected have you ever asked yourself why? Have you ever thought maybe God thinks you’re not ready, or He thinks you’ve passed that level. Rejection is just an indirect way of God giving you another chance to re – do that same thing but in a perfected manner. Now for those of you who don’t believe in second chances you’re either the ones who don’t forgive or think you can’t make a mistake in the coming days because if you don’t think you’re any of these things then the words second chance and keep trying should be in your dictionary. I’ve been rejected and looked down on, I’ve been insulted and at a point I believed those people, but when God brings you out of that belief He doesn’t just bring you out but he brings you out with a testimony, a deep understanding and He brings you out to be able to identify and agree, in other words empathize and sympathize.
i remember when in used to go to radio stations to drop my cd’s, i used to get stopped by the security men, they’d tell me to drop my cd at the security post that they’ll take it in for me. I knew there was a high chance that they might not take it in but i still dropped it anyway. I felt rejected because i knew if i was a big deal in the music game I’d not need to go drop any cd. Now fast forward from then to now, I’m not a big issh in the music game yet but my songs get played on radio and I don’t go about dropping any cd’s. Don’t get me wrong and think I’m telling this story to show off because I’m far from that. I’m saying this because every time i dropped my cd and I didn’t hear it on any of the radio stations I said to myself they might have probably heard it but didn’t like it so I’m going to go back into the booth rapping with more fire. So rejection is not always a bad thing but it’s not a good thing either. I don’t want to be rejected and i will not be rejected ever again but if you find yourself being rejected, be patient. He knows, He sees, He hears all. Till next time, stay safe.
