Some of the representatives of the corporate  sponsors also spoke to our correspondent on why they took  part in  Miss LASU 2013:

Adewale Abimbola of Hardcore Energy Drink; “We decided to sponsor this event because it will give us the opportunity to create awareness for our product before the students. Though we are new in the market we deemed it fit to be here to refresh the people.”

Sofaz Sonar Joseph, Promotional Manager, Tecno Nigeria; “We see that students are one of our most important audiences that we have to reach. This is because they are always involved in high and new technology. That is why we want to provide our new technology at Lagos State University so it will be easy for them to process information from the internet.”

For Funke Folarin, UB Product Manager, “We believe students are our tomorrow`s leaders. So we want to build with them a good confidence so that we can look up to them in the future. You know our hair product that is being showcased today has to do with women and beauty pageants. They can`t do without relaxing their hair and we have so much confidence in our product for them.”
