The Controller-General of the Nigerian Customs Service, Hameed Ali, has arrived the National Assembly ahead of the rescheduled hearing.

Mr. Ali who had been summoned by the Senate for questioning on the controversial vehicle duty arrived the National Assembly in a white kaftan and not uniform against the demands of the Senate.

On arrival, Ali went straight to the office of the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki. He was ushered into the office of the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Senate Matters, Ita Enang.

Recall that the senate on Wednesday, March 15 mandated the NCS boss to appear before it today at 10am after Ali failed to show up as expected.
